A must visit while visiting Xiamen South Putuo Temple-Located in the southeast of Xiamen Island ,it is surrounded by the beautiful sea and with the Wulao Peaks at its back, a very refreshing place with the famous buddhist culture. The temple was firt built in the Tang Dynasty and was later rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty with the funds provided by General Shiliang. With its delicate architecture and different buddhist scriptures and relics , it is a well known temple worth visiting while in Xiamen.
